James Albert Shipman Sr., 54, of Las Vegas, died June 29, 2004. He was a bar porter and served in the U.S. Army. He is survived by his spouse, Coleen Beth; parents, Huey and Noel Marie Owen; and son, James Albert Jr. Viewing will be from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Thursday, July 8, at Desert Memorial Cremation & Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Burial will be at 1:20 p.m. Thursday, July 8, at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
